As well as providing PR support, the agency also raised over £1,000 for YMCA Lincolnshire through its annual charity chippy quiz, which took place in November.Kate Strawson, director of Shooting Star, said:“As a company we are passionate about giving something back to the community, so every year we do our bit to help promote the work of a charity. Charities offer support to diverse parts of our community, but they often do not have the resources to promote their services.”Charities have until 21st December to apply by emailing [email protected] and explaining why they think they would benefit from a year’s free PR.center_img About Melanie May Melanie May is a journalist and copywriter specialising in writing both for and about the charity and marketing services sectors since 2001.
