Hyundai Venue first design sketches unveiled, might be priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 12 lakh

While the global premiere of Hyundai Venue will take place at the New York International Auto Show on April 17, 2019, the compact SUV will be simultaneously previewed in India as well.Several reports have already claimed that Hyundai Venue will be launched in India on May 21, 2019. The upcoming compact SUV will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport and Mahindra XUV300 following its introduction in the country.According to the car manufacturer, Hyundai Venue will be big on connectivity, performance and personality.”The concept behind the Hyundai Venue embodies the characteristics of ‘the place to be’, en route to the final destination, wherever that may be. From everyday workplace activities to weekend fun, Hyundai Venue is a great fit in accommodating busy lifestyles with an abundance of playful and practical features, including seamless safety, versatility and connectivity,” Hyundai Motor India said in a statement. Hyundai VenueThe design sketches reveal a very sporty front fascia of Hyundai Venue. A bold grille along with split headlamps gives the compact SUV a unique look. Hyundai Venue will get roof rails as well as diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the compact SUV will feature spoiler, skid plate and LED tail lamps. Hyundai VenueThe cabin of Hyundai Venue is expected to be spacious with ample room for three adults at the back seat. There will premium seat upholstery and a touchscreen infotainment system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The compact SUV might feature a sunroof as well.advertisementHyundai Venue is expected to be available with three engine options — 1.4-litre petrol, 1.4-litre diesel and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol. The engines are expected to be mated to both manual and automatic transmissions.Hyundai Venue will get the company’s advanced global connectivity solution — ‘Hyundai BlueLink’. The compact SUV will have 33 features, out of which 10 are specifically for the Indian market. Hyundai BlueLink will focus on safety, security, remote access, vehicle relationship management, location-based services, and alert services.According to the company, the Hyundai BlueLink has been developed and rigorously tested in India for the customers keeping in mind their day-to-day needs and challenges faced on the roads while driving. For easy accessibility, features like SOS (save our souls), roadside assistance and BlueLink button have been provided on the inside rearview mirror.As claimed by the company, the Hyundai BlueLink provides industry-first safety features like vehicle theft tracking and immobilization for recovery of stolen vehicles. Other safety features are speed alert, geofence alert, panic notification, and share destination.
