The 50 metre pool in Prince George can be separated into two 25 metre racing venues, this allowed for the meet to accommodate the 400 plus swimmers without a problem. As well, the lanes in PG are the proper regulated width which makes for fast swimming. These are things the younger swimmers have not seen before if they have only swam at our pool in Fort St John. Overall the swimmers appreciate the opportunity to come and race in such a nice facility… It makes for an enjoyable experience.”Veteran swimmers Owen Lang and Alex Hedges led the Inconnu at the senior end of the team. Lang and Hedges each took home the overall aggregate trophy for scoring in their respective age groups. To top the weekend off, Hedges took home the eliminator swim-off prize as the top female Individual Medley swimmer. Teammate Brittany Welsh placed second, and Jayden Forster finished fifth. The Inconnu will next be in action in their home swim meet at the North Peace Leisure Pool December 2nd – 4th.Advertisementlast_img read more
