Geocachers Tweeted mysterious updates about the coin before it was unveiled. “Der Dicke” is listed as the “world’s largest geocoin” on the German language geocoin Wikipedia page.Geocachers in Germany have been discovering “Der Dicke” at events since mid-October. But now the Geocoin has a permanent location in the hometown of its owner, AlexSchweigert. Switzerland-based youth-focused interactive channel Joiz has secured its first German licensing agreement to supply its technology platform to a third party media group.Media Group M. DuMont Schauberg will use the Joiz Global community marketing technology platform to deliver interactive services around Köln.tv, the group’s regional TV network, which features a mix of news, sport and lifestyle programming.The free-to-air channel Köln.tv features a range of new programming from Cologne, Bonn, Leverkusen and the surrounding area. This includes a daily news show, magazine series and talk show alongside programming devoted to football and hockey.Using Joiz’s platform Köln.tv will enable viewers to create a profile online that enables them to offer opinions, encourage debate and propose stories. The platform gives viewers access to live group and one-to-one chats, enabling them to interact with presenters and share content with others in the community.The deal encompasses M. DuMont Schauberg-owned regional newspapers Express and Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger.
